WebThe transformer connected to it has a 30VA rating. I have the Nest chime connector wired up as instructed. Now when I ring the old doorbell, the chime sounds fine. (Shorting the wires also works fine) I now replaced the old doorbell with the Nest doorbell. Now, when I ring the Nest doorbell, the chime sounds fine the first time. WebStill phantom chiming.
