WebBut Earthdawn is not, in its roots, intended to be played like a heroic fantasy game, and trying to compare it with D&D is, IMHO, misunderstanding what it truly is. And the system was not originally designed in such a way as to make it feel like D&D. It should be played as a meeting between Call of Cthulhu and D&D, and that makes it unique.
