For format: "this program cannot be run in DOS" The format facility in xp windows, maintenance, shows that of course the system disk cannot be formated. WebPerhaps I could use FreeDOS SHARE instead, but CBIS NPS.EXE is also generating an "Incorrect DOS version" error, and NPS is hard to troubleshoot with because it requires that other network components be loaded.
